PRS 513 - Special Edition Swamp Ash

513 stands for 5 pickups and 13 sounds. The 513 is an updated version of the original 513 Rosewood Model. It features a mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, updated electronics and includes the PRS patented pickup system providing 13 modern and vintage sounds utilizing 5 proprietary single coil pickups. Other specifications include a 25 1/4" scale length, a special neck joint, 513 bird inlays and an easy to use integrated electronics control package, which includes volume control, tone control and two blade switches. One blade switch is a 5-way pickup selector, and the other is a 3-way mode switch that allows you to select between the single coil, clear humbucking and heavy humbucking modes. This is one of the most versatile instruments that can go from screaming humbuckers to sparkling single coils with the flick of a 3-way switch!

The SE Custom 24 features a mahogany body, maple top with a flame maple veneer, three piece wide-thin maple neck, rosewood fretboard and moon inlays. Incorporating PRS designed HFS treble and bass pickups, the SE Custom 24 produces a wide range of tonal possibilities enhanced by a variety of switching options.

PRS - SE Paul Allerder Signature

Paul Allender, lead guitarist of the band Cradle of Filth, is known for his unique style. Paul didn’t take any lessons when he was starting out on the guitar. This allowed him to develop his own style very quickly. With his strict right hand rhythm technique and his chromatic writing style, Paul Allender’s sound is easily identifiable.

Paul started playing PRS when he left Cradle of Filth and started the band, the Blood Divine. He purchased a second hand CE-24 and used it exclusively throughout the band’s days and brought it with him when he rejoined Cradle of Filth at the turn of the century. He then sent a design of his own to PRS. It featured a purple and black sunburst on a curly maple top and replaced the traditional bird inlays with bats for a darker but still classic PRS look. PRS built the guitar for Allender as a private stock model, but it eventually made it to production as an SE model.

The Paul Allender SE is a 24 fret guitar with gold hardware and specially wound pickups that were designed for Paul. Paul’s PRS guitars can be heard on Cradle of Filth’s new album, Godspeed on the Devil’s Thunder.

PRS - Starla Limited with Bigsby Trem.

The Bigsby-armed PRS Starla Ltd. Electric Guitar takes all the features and quality of the original PRS Starla and adds the retro-inspired look of a slightly modified Santana/SC-DC 245 headstock. The Starla Ltd. is the result of conversations with artists who love what PRS's Mira and Starla guitars offer, but want to take the vintage vibe one step further. This production run includes just 30 with Bigsby tailpieces.

The single-cutaway Starla Ltd. has many vintage themed appointments including vintage-style tuners, and a Bigsby B5 tail piece and a Grover Tune-o-matic-style bridge. PRS highlights the solid mahogany Starla body a 24-1/2" scale rosewood fingerboard, a wide fat mahogany neck and dot inlays.

The Starla Ltd. also includes exclusive Starla Treble and Bass humbuckers with proprietary alnico magnets that contribute to the guitar's unique clean and crisp sound, but are also capable of rich harmonic overtones when driven. A push/pull coil-splitting tone control expands the Starla guitar's tonal range with single-coil sounds. PRS - Orianthi SE

Orianthi Panagaris has been playing PRS guitars since 1997 when she traded acoustic for electric guitar after seeing Carlos Santana in concert in her native Australia. In addition to her solo career, Orianthi has jammed with and supported such acclaimed musicians as Carlos Santana, Steve Vai, ZZ Top, and Michael Jackson—more than earning her spot as a guitar great.
